SMT Energy Ltd is focused on the slogan “Your energy security is our priority” to ensure energy of all end users. To make balance the Energy requirement throughout the country we are taking steps to bring the energy source nearer to the customer. As a part of this SMT Energy Ltd is establishing 10 no’s of LPG Satellite plant in different parts of the country to minimize transportation cost and save times. It will help both LPG operators and distributors to make the LPG cooking cylinder available whenever needs to by end user.
Among the satellite plants following locations are remote for the LPG operators but there are a numbers of end users.
LPG Satellite Plant in BSCIC Industrial Estate, Bhola
LPG Satellite Plant in Royna, Boraigram, Natore
LPG Satellite Plant in BSCIC Industrial Estate, Panchagarh
Apart from these we are also establishing Satellite Plants in Sylhet, Chittagong, Rangpur, Mymensingh, Comilla and in Dhaka Metropolitan City.
SMT Energy Ltd is also making plan to utilize the unutilized Natural gas found in Bhola district. We are working with Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources to set up natural gas compressing plant with a capacity of 20 MMCFD and then carry it to Dhaka or in other industrial area where users are suffering for the lack of fuel like natural gas. To make it cost effective we will carry the CNG by water (CNG carrying barge or ship).
LPG Satellite Plant in BSCIC Industrial Estate, Bhola
Bhola is an isolated district with no direct road connectivity, relying on ferry transport. To ensure a stable fuel supply for household cooking and industries in the region, LPG emerges as the most viable solution. Given the significant demand for LPG across industries within the BSCIC Industrial Estate under Sadar Upazila of Bhola District and its surrounding areas, our satellite / bottling plant is expected to play a crucial role in meeting this need by supplying LPG cylinders throughout the region. Based on our assessment, the estimated demand in the target area ranges from 500 MT to 1,000 MT per month, which our LPG satellite plant in Bhola BSCIC aims to fulfill. Currently, we have an LPG storage capacity of 100 MT and can refill up to 200 cylinders per hour.
LPG Satellite Plant in Royna, Boraigram, Natore
Since Natore serves as a gateway to Rajshahi and has a vast number of LPG cylinder end-users for household cooking, refilling from a closer location like Natore can significantly reduce both costs and delivery time. The Rajshahi zone is rapidly industrializing, with LPG becoming the primary fuel source for these growing industries.
To support both industrial operations and the large household LPG consumer base, we have established an LPG Satellite Plant in Royna, Boraigram Upazila, Natore. We have targeted to cover the areas of Natore, Rajshahi, Pabna, Bogra, Joypurhat from our LPG Satellite Plant. Based on our assessment, the estimated demand that we aim to fulfill in the target areas ranges from 1,000 MT to 2,000 MT per month. Currently, we have an LPG storage capacity of 100 MT and the capability to refill up to 200 cylinders per hour.

To expand LPG accessibility across North Bengal, particularly near the Panchagarh district, we have established an LPG Satellite Plant at the BSCIC Industrial Estate, Panchagarh. This facility is designed to efficiently serve households and industries in Panchagarh, Thakurgaon, and Nilphamari, helping them save both time and costs.
Our Capacity & Goals:
• Estimated Demand Coverage: 1,000 MT – 1,500 MT per month
• LPG Storage Capacity: 100 MT
• Cylinder Refilling Capacity: 200 cylinders per hour
